Although WhatsApp displays all phone numbers by default, it also allows users to hide their phone numbers. Follow these easy steps to hide your number from others:
First, run the WhatsApp application.
Click on the three dots above and then select the Setting option to enter WhatsApp settings.
Click on the Account option .
From the Account section, tap on Privacy.
In the Privacy section, several options can be seen. Click About and change its mode from Everyone to Nobody.
Other Privacy Options:
Last Seen: If you do not want anyone to be notified of your last online stay, select this option and change it from Everyone to My contact and Nobody, depending on your preference.
Profile Photo: If you do not want anyone but your contacts to see your profile picture; Select this option and switch to Nobody or My contact mode.
Status: One of the good features of WhatsApp is Status. This feature is used to share temporary video and video files (24 hours) for all contacts stored on mobile. There are three options in Status:
My contact: Select this option if you want all contacts to see your status.
My contact except: Select and limit the number of people you do not want to see your Status from your contacts by selecting this option.
Only share with: If you want only a limited number of contacts to see your status, select this option and add the desired contacts.
Read receipts: This option is used to read messages in WhatsApp without eating a blue tick.
Groups: If you do not want someone to join you in different groups, select this option and restrict your contacts.
Blocked contacts: In this section, the list of people you have blocked is displayed.
Fingerprint lock: This option is for locking WhatsApp, using a fingerprint sensor. This option is only displayed in the WhatsApp version of those whose mobile phones support this sensor.
